A Wrongful Conviction Can Happen to Any of Us

SJVT Podcast Album Cover

Imagine you leave the house one day and when you return, you find your landlord dead in the basement? This is exactly what happened to Peter Wilson. Two trials later he has spent nearly 30 years in prison for a murder that he was framed for. Arresting Officer Michael Yore of the Palo Alto Police Department has been found to have planted DNA evidence, removed alibi evidence, and removed exculpable evidence with a whip of the pen. All for $400,000 per Peter Wilson.

Years after his imprisonment, Mr. Wilson has successfully gained access to missing pages of the police report and file that clears him with an alibi during the time the District Attorney, Linda Ruth Condron (Clark - now a judge) claims that Mr. Wilson must have committed the crime.

He has successfully had the handwriting on the evidence logs identified as that of Officer Michael Yore who removed a vial of his blood from evidence the day of the crime. An independent lab has reviewed the DNA data and expressed that the blood of Mr. Wilson collected at the crime scene showed the same degradation levels as the blood in the tubes taken from his arm by the police lab tech. There's only one way this can happen, the blood at the crime scene came from the vials taken by the Police Department.

Mr. Wilson has also shown that it was Officer Michael Yore's handwriting that removed Mr. Wilson's alibi evidence from his backpack after an illegal search and seizure, and then ultimately the police file that would have provided Mr. Wilson with an alibi, and disproved the DA's contentions that the crime was committed at an hour far earlier than the actual murder.

To top it off, Officer Yore's handwriting has also been found on the confession letter of William Coleman removing from the police file the exculpable evidence that proves the victim, Hak Joo Kim, was still alive hours after the DA testified that Mr. Wilson killed her. Mr. Wilson was in the hospital during or on his way home at the time she was likely killed. The confession letter of William Coleman taken by another Officer J. Verna stated that Mr. Coleman admitted to having sex with the victim at 8:30PM on the night in question which means that Ms. Kim was alive 6.5 hours after the DA and her testifying forensic experts claimed that Mr. Wilson killed her.

This is nothing short of a conspiracy to convict an innocent man. Mr. Wilson states that in the process of the illegal search and seizure of his backpack one day before the search warrant was issued, $400,000 from the sale of an antique piece of art was never seen by him again. The handwriting of Officer Yore on the copy of the alibi evidence illegally taken from Wilson's backpack before issuance of the search warrant supports that Officer Yore searched his backpack, collected key pieces of alibi evidence, logged it into the police file with a date previous to the warrant, and then later removed it from the police file previous to trial.

The reason I say it is a conspiracy is because the exculpatory confession from William Coleman was an interview taken by a different officer. Why didn't J. Verna speak up about this confession and what it meant to the innocence of Mr. Wilson? Why did arresting Officer Michael Yore remove alibi and exculpatory evidence from the police file? Why did DA Linda Ruth Condron have her experts testify to inaccurate forensic protocol and standards, why didn't she provide the DNA results to the defense from the sperm and semen found on the victim, why didn't she provide the DNA results from the cigarette butt found at the scene of the crime to the defense, and why the hell did she fight to secure the inability of Wilson's defense team to introduce third party culpability???

All evidence and actions of law enforcement and the judicial system has failed an innocent man and cost him 30 years of his life. Mr. Wilson has waited almost a year and a half to a Writ of Habeas Corpus reviewed for new evidence. Why does the system take so long when it is so very clear that he is innocent. Our system isn't broken, it is fixed.

Peter Wilson is in need of an attorney familiar with a Writ of Habeas Corpus, and the more help I can get to shine a light on this case to ensure freedom and justice the better. Please comment, like and share for maximum exposure.

Please check out episode 176 and 177 on the Podcast page of this website for a presentation on the evidence in this case. Additional evidence is soon to be released... Stay Tuned!!!
